RustSentinel Rust+ Connector browser extension · Last updated 15 July 2026

The RustSentinel Rust+ Connector browser extension links your Rust+ account to your RustSentinel account so RustSentinel can monitor your Rust servers on your behalf. This policy explains exactly what the extension accesses and what data leaves your device.

What the extension accesses

The extension only runs on two sites:

The extension does not read your Steam password, your browsing history, the content of any other website, or data from any tab other than the Rust+ login page.

What data leaves your device, and why

Only your Rust+ token, your Steam ID, and a capture timestamp are transmitted, and only to https://rustsentinel.com. This is required for the extension's single purpose: linking your Rust+ account to RustSentinel so the service can connect to your servers for you. No data is sent to any other party.

What we do not do

Storage

The extension keeps a short-lived copy of the captured Rust+ token and Steam ID in the browser's local extension storage, only so the popup can show you the connection status. This never leaves your device except as the single upload to rustsentinel.com described above. Removing the extension removes this copy.

Your Rust+ token

Your Rust+ token is stored on the RustSentinel service and used solely to operate the monitoring features you enable. You can disconnect Rust+ at any time from your RustSentinel dashboard, which stops the service from using the token.
